hi from Maine

Post  Garrett Maine on Mon Jul 21, 2014 8:53 am

Hello all. Im Garrett from Maine. New to detecting. Just bought a minelab 17000 xt on eBay for 245.00 us dollars. Nice shape. What's the best coil i can get. Don't think there's much gold in Maine. So im going to look at old shipyards. Im on the coast here on a river that flows into the ocean. Water is mixed fresh and salt. Not sure if i have the right detector. I guess ill dig everything. I need a coil that goes deep. Maybe the 14.5wot. Please help. Need all information on the 17000 xt. Has an extra battery pack. Has the 8 inch round coil. What kind of headphones should i use. Thanks. Are there any good places to look in Maine. Garrett

Hi Garret Marine and welcome to the site mate. I don't know much about the 17000 but I'm sure someone here will be able to help you. But what I do know is that machine would be great on the beaches looking for coins and such. So mate hit the beaches and you could have your detector paid of in no time.
