What is the temp down Narooma way at the moment?
Do you have any clue as to where on the beach you lost this item?

Yes - I have an idea about the most likely spot.

We actually hired a metal detector and trying to find the object ourselves. So far did not manage to find it.

I have a mate visiting Narooma and he has his detector with him.  Let me know if you would like to chat with him.  I'll pass your details onto him.  If you want pass your phone number to me via PM and off the board.

EDIT - Just saw your PM. Good luck.

Are you sure you lost it on the beach ? Some people only notice a ring , say , is missing when they sit down and relax at the beach. For example , they could have lost it getting out of the car. Hope you get it back, good luck !

Have you checked at Narooma Police Station ? You might be lucky and an honest person has handed it in .

I am 99% sure we lost it on the beach because there was little time before we discovered the loss. I also left a note at the Police station but with no luck so far.

I wanted to thank everyone who tried to help me with finding the lost item. Just in case someone will find it, it was a white gold wedding ring with a small diamond mounted into the ring and a channel on the outer side of the ring. We lost it on Bar beach South at shore at the main swimming area with safety net.

shark net is located at northern end of beach near car park.

borisb, thanks for clarifying location, also, did you go for a swim there?

Hope someone can find for you.
