Nasty weather Gods!

Post  deano on Mon Apr 24, 2017 1:18 pm

Typical...... get a day off work and plan it all around some detecting near Maryborough.
Then you check the BOM for the weather and you see this...............
Cloudy. Very high (90%) chance of rain, most likely in the early morning. The chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and afternoon. Heavy falls possible in the east. Winds northerly 25 to 35 km/h turning westerly 20 to 30 km/h during the morning then decreasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 11 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching between 16 and 19.

Rotten weather gods.

Hey Deano if your worried that your patch will get wet, let me know where it is and I can go up and try and keep the nuggets dry. Smile

Deano, it sounds like perfect detecting weather to me.

I can't count how many times I didn't go up and there was no rain. If you want to go then go, don't worry about the weather. The showers may be late in the afternoon, but the forecast won't tell you this. Take a plastic poncho and a hat to keep the water off if it does rain.

Regards Axtyr.

sure Wombat.
turn left into that track then up past a few more tracks, go down the hill and past a big clump of trees, park where the bullant nest is and walk in ,oh about 921 meters south west and there they are, all tucked away waiting under those grass tussocks. while you are there Wom, could you feed them, they need to grow a bit.
