Hi there flyspecks,

I am sure goldchaser will clarify if I am wrong, but I believe he is referring to Motion X GPS-HD which as far as I know is only available for IPhone and Ipad and available through the Apple store at a nominal price.

I was a bit confused at first as I understood that the system initially referenced Google Earth data and at some point was not able to continue using it. I believe it is now able to and as well Apple and Bing images which may in fact be from the same source. Not sure what image source goldchaser is referring to but from where I sit at the moment it seems that the Apple/Bing images are the clearer and maybe have a better zoom feature.

Trust you are well.

Sorry Jen,  Embarassed

You must have put up that link as I was typing so we ended up crossing over a bit.

Naah goldchaser lol!

I was aware of it a few years ago when there was apparently some issue with it and Google. Since then I have been pretty much Android, but I was tempted to revisit after your post as there was a spare Ipad about. Thanks for that.

There is also another called IGIS which is also for Apple users however, my concern with that is it seems to use google images exclusively. The good thing is that I understand with IGIS, you can add layered polygons which may give one the benefit of incorporating tenement borders. Haven't had the time to play with either properly yet.

Trust you are going along OK also.

Hope to be on the tin sparrow next Friday. V37

Yep Jen,

Return looks good at this stage. Although there is a little way to go, the expectation is that it will happen. Looking forward to it I must say.
