Some nice littleuns there GG.
Were you getting any fines like flour gold in the dish. I thought it may have been washing through the  sluice going by the rate the water was flowing through?
Did you have a bucket at the outlet to test for losses?

Thanks, the largest piece is about as big as it gets around there unless yo're extremely lucky... The sluice catches from pickers down to tiny dots and it was mainly dotty flour gold that was found but I also wanted to be sure I wasn't loosing anything and as I take 2 sluices anyway, I actually set up the second sluice beneath this one so the material got sluiced twice and nothing was found in the bottom sluice and this blue one held a few small dots which satisfied me I wasn't loosing anything.  I think I show that set up on the day 2 video on my channel

Thanks for the reply.
I thought it looked like a tidy little sluice but was wondering about the size of the riffles and whether they would catch the flour gold.

The top riffles don't usually hold the flour gold, only larger stuff, the dotty flour gold gets caught up in the material exchanging in the drop riffles a little further down, but I have always wondered myself so it's been tested twice now to be sure
