GPX-4500 Search Mode Deep

Hi from Young TuT

Has anybody out there operated the GPX-4500 In the Deep Search Mode on high mineralised ground and if so what,s the best settings to use I bought Jonathan Porter,s DVD,s The Seta Project but It does not go Into detail on the Deep Search Mode Setting unless I missed something on the DVD but Its a very Interesting

Artrix, yes I could, there is not really much difference from the settings most of the 4500 users will be using anyway. These settings are for a mono coil.

Front End Cap

Search Mode, Deep
Timings, Enhance
Ground Balance, Fixed
Coil/RX, Mono



REAR MENU

Volume Limit, 15
GB Type General
DEEP
Motion, Med
RX Gain, 11 what ever you can handle on the day.
Audio, Quiet
Tone, 49
Stabilizer, 11
Signal, 16
Target Volume, 16 (speaker, lower for headphones 12)
Response, Inverted

Tracking Slow

I found deep mode to be very beneficial when used in conjunction with enhance and the audio set on deep as well. I was getting very positive signals on tiny bits of gold at depths of about 10-12 inches.
