Gerrit wrote, "Dit anybody ever used one off thoose coils on your gpx, they are from Detech and is a butterfly s.e.f. ...SEF = "Symetrical Electromagnetic Field" coils...I now they make them in 3 sizes for the gpx range, and sinds I owe a 4000, I like to hear if some off you ever used one."

Gerrit or anyone, I think they are only available for the single and multifrequency VLF machines. Gerrit show us a web-page link(www.???.???) where the SEF coils are available for the SD, GP, and GPX Pulse Induction machines, if you have one??

None of these SEF coils are for the SD, GP, and GPX Pulse Inductions?:

That’s interesting Beer Beeper I just had a look around and found this dude named Marcel who shows one attached to his GPX.
http://www.mlotv.com/view/291/sef-coil-for-the-gp-and-gpx-detectors/

He says to drop back for more details after he’s tested it, but he never does, that was back on the 20th of May last year.
He also announced it on the Nuggetshooter Forum on the 21st.

But then nothing more,........
I wonder if it let the smoke out of his GPX the very next day? Sad

Hi Grey/Beeper Beeper
The guy who inports minelab for the benelux, stil have some in stock, http://www.detect.nl/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=17&Itemid=1
The reason Marcel used the bigger sef coil is, to run it in disk mode, to get some moore dept, he only used it for relick's.
As far as I now, he don't have his 4500 anymore, because there is to much iron in our world.
Here is one good story we dit with a 4500 http://arizonaoutback.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=7018
Myself gonna use my 4000 for the gold in the Swiss mountans this year, go there sinds 89 mostly sluising and prospecting.

G'day Gerrit,
Thanks for the links. A good story, and pleased to hear that Marcel didn't cook his machine.
Good luck with your prospecting. I was amazed to learn that the Celts had over 400 gold mines in Western Europe, (West of Germany)
First day of autumn here in a couple of days, and spring for you, so you'll be hanging out to go for gold. I only get to the goldfields one weekend out of 8 so I get really excited when the time comes around.

Best wishes
Grey.
