Critical Acclaim
Hi All
Had a word with a old friend that I hadnt spoke to for a while. She told me that she and her hubby had last season got a 50% share of close to a 100 ounce patch in the Pilbara.I said fantastic, what machine where you using. She said a Gpx4500.I asked her what are they like. Her reply stunned me "Bloody brilliant but absolute crap when its cloudy"
Thats critical acclaim,Should be more of it
Cheers dig

Re: Critical Acclaim
Hi Dig,
I think if you had questioned her further there is a difference between cloudy and thunderstorm clouds.
My guess is it would be electrical interference they encountered.
Cheers
Peter

Re: Critical Acclaim
Hi Peter and Specy
Havent been able to get back to them. She used to run a minelab Dealership from Laverton Vanpark.5 foot tall and could run an 18 mono without a bungee all day (tough as nails). My guess is she would have been running a large mono.
I suppose the thing is do we have a guide on EMI with the latter machines.Has running higher frequencies made them more prone and if so is it something they should address. It would be good to get a clear picture of this.
