Scanning Your Gold
Thanks for the idea Stoppsy.
The problem I have with pics is FOCUS. I do not have a tripod and trying to get in close with macro rarely seems to work for me.
This idea seems to solve that problem as the pic looked pretty sharp.

If you put a light blue back ground behind the gold {a4 sheet of paper} it will work much better. cheers

Stoppsy by playing around with back ground Colours they will give you a different depth of field and a much clearer image. Nero-Design I think that’s him knows his stuff when it comes to this kind of talk and he may be able to shed some more light on the subject. Cheers

Hey Stoppsy ! been trying to scan my Maryborough bit, but it keeps coming up blury ,seems to be caused by "light flash" from the scanner ??? maybe cause its a rather flat bit ? any ideas ????? cheers big ears
