The Arvo started with a 1897 Threepence

The arvo started with a 1897 Threepence, 8 inches away i got the first nugget & the rest of the arvo was spent thoroughly going over an area approx 2 metres by 4 metres for the other 10 nuggets, Rubbish everywhere outside the detected area.

Thanks guys for your comments, Pete we just got home from W.A. as we are heading O/S in a couple of weeks. Yes we got rained in twice while out bush & bogged once but we had a great time. Best of luck on your next golding trip and get that big one that i left behind. I was chuffed finding that Threepence, Over the next few days i got 12 more nuggets, 1 more threepence, 1 sixpence ( both buckled ) & a halfpenny to boot all in a small area of about 3 metres by 5 metres with a half bucket of junk. Will continue enlarging that spot as from my original tally of 5 nuggets i am now up to 55 from an area of approx 20 by 20 metres. No body seems to tackle my 5 spot because of the amount of rubbish, So yes i guess Rubbish can be your friend.
