The mighty 4500 coupled to the 14" , deep holes , great colour , sustantially bigger bits than last year , a patch with potential , 1/2 an ounce already .... Bro - do i need to say anymore .OOhhh - Hook up the 18 when the 14 has done its job !!!

Well done mate, and I know for sure the 4500 is an awesome machine. Bigger coils equals bigger/deeper gold, but you can't use em everywhere, its horses for courses as your finding out.

Good on you Stoppsy well done, 10 pieces, specially on such a hot day like today. There will be more in your patch and when it gets a bit cooler and you can concentrate better they will pop up like mushrooms mate

thanks mate, i leave the stabe on FP and then the gain on 12 but if running a bit rough i just go back to FP as your better off running at smooth as you can to pick the smaller signals. then after i have done this with the 14" N/F coil i'll put the 18"N/F on to get those deeper ones with the same settings.

i hope it works out mate. your better off having it running smooth and be able to pick your targets than running rough and missing them. you might not get the depth as the gain is lower than most people run but that's why you should have a good selecton off coils to make up for it.

Got back yesterday afternoon from 2 very hot days swinging the detector in the GT. Had a little spot that I thought might be a chance. But no luck. Came home, to be honest, a tiny bit disappointed. Then I look at the vids of your latest finds, and inspiration sets in, and I want to go back there NOW !!! Keep it up.
