I agree with Dave. You take a nice pic Phil. Was there a dodgy run on scales? Thou that is a pretty big 5 cent coin! Very Happy Yep much bigger coil or turn the threshold right down cheers

Hang on there Phil.As Pete stated,"your strike rate is high"that's one piece for just about every day of the month. Now how many prospectors can lay claim to that regardless of size? I've had many a fruitless day,before lobbing on to even the smallest of nuggets.

I agree with you Pete - although they were small, still heaps better than my great big ZERO. I know no one wants to see my pic of nothing! Great photo and well done.

G'Day

In July 2008 I got a 3500 and at the end of August went to Flat Creek near Georgetown. Took 2 or 3 days till I found about 7grammer then another 2 days to find another about the same. (See my avatar)

I am still looking for my third. Just bought a 5000 and should be back in Vic for April. If I can find one small piece per day I will be bloody ecstatic!!
