Thanks for posting that I was looking at the Jaycar one but it is $70.

Have a look at this review of the Aldi Unit.

They use it to clean bullet casings. They add a squirt of dishwashing liquid as per the manuals instructions but also add 1tsp Cream of Tartar to the water in the unit.

Word of warning dont put anything made of aluminium into an ultrasonic cleaner.

They use this to test the effectiveness of the cleaner as it will break down the aluminium.
